Key Responsibilities and Duties
• Lead all FP&A functions including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
• Build and enhance financial models to support strategic decision-making and growth initiatives
• Drive M&A efforts including financial due diligence, integration planning, and execution
• Oversee cost accounting functions with a focus on inventory, margins, and operational efficiency
• Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets
• Establish and track KPIs to measure financial and operational performance
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury operations
• Lead relationships with banks, lenders, and investors; support capital raising efforts
• Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and GAAP compliance
• Optimize ERP systems and financial processes to support scalability
• Mentor and lead a growing finance team, building a high-performance culture
• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO on growth initiatives, expansion, and acquisitions
Qualifications – Needed
• MBA in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA strongly preferred)
• Minimum 15+ years of progressive experience in finance, with strong FP&A focus
• Experience or strong background in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environments
• Strong background in cost accounting, inventory management, and margin analysis
• Proven ability to lead M&A initiatives including modeling, diligence, and integration
• Proven ability to scale financial operations in a growing business
• Deep expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, treasury management, and ERP systems
• Advanced Excel skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities
• Hands-on leadership style with ability to operate both strategically and tactically
