Responsibilities
· Financial reporting: Review of quarterly and annual fund financials including preparation of quarterly management fee billing and working with auditors on annual audit. Month end closing for operating entities, including intercompany transactions, expense recharge and billings.
· Operations: Processing wires for investments, invoice payments and liaising with fund administrators on fund related matters like reporting, capital call and distribution.
· Compliance: Track deadlines and prepare regulatory reports for fund and operating entities, including tax filing.
· Investor relations: responding to ad-hoc investor queries and requests.
· Fund launches: Cash reconciliation for fund raises and fund capital calls. Assistance in managing new fund launches from a finance and operations perspective, including allocation of fund level interests for new limited partners.
· Other ad-hoc work: Be involved in projects, account opening, entity incorporation, etc.
Experience and Other Requirements
· Background: >5 years working as a finance and accounting professional with a focus on funds management and fund administration and is (or is studying towards being) CPA or CA-equivalent qualified. A combination of audit, fund admin, buy-side experiences is highly valued.
· Execution Skills: An ability to move fast and learn quickly, juggle priorities and work autonomously. Must be meticulous and accurate. Resourceful in formulating solution to, and articulate problems.
· Analytical Skills: Resourceful and possesses developed analytical and quantitative skills.
· Geography Experience: Multijurisdictional experience (Cayman, BVI) would be viewed favourably.
· Language: Can speak and write in English and Chinese.
