Role Description
The Venture Capital Analyst is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and analyzing investment opportunities in startups and high-growth companies. This role supports the investment team in making informed decisions by conducting in-depth research, financial analysis, and market assessments across emerging industries.
You will source and screen potential investment deals by analyzing business models, market size, competitive positioning, and growth potential. The role involves building financial models, performing valuation analysis, and preparing investment memos to support deal evaluation and decision-making processes.
A key responsibility is tracking industry trends, innovation cycles, and disruptive technologies to identify promising sectors and founders. You will also assist in due diligence activities, reviewing financial statements, product strategies, and operational performance of target companies.
This position requires close collaboration with senior investors, entrepreneurs, and external stakeholders to validate assumptions and gather insights. You will also monitor portfolio companies, assess performance metrics, and support value creation initiatives.
In addition, the Venture Capital Analyst contributes to deal execution workflows, supporting transaction structuring, documentation, and post-investment monitoring to ensure long-term investment success.
