Role Description
The Venture Capital Analyst is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and supporting investment opportunities in startups and high-growth companies. You will analyze emerging industries, market trends, and innovative business models to identify promising investment opportunities. The role involves assessing company fundamentals, including revenue models, scalability, competitive positioning, and market potential.
A key responsibility is building financial models, performing valuations, and preparing investment reports, presentations, and memorandums to support investment decision-making. You will analyze financial statements, operational metrics, and growth projections to evaluate company performance.
This position also involves participating in due diligence processes, including market research, management evaluation, risk assessment, and industry analysis. You will collaborate with founders, portfolio companies, and senior investment professionals throughout the investment lifecycle.
In addition, the Venture Capital Analyst contributes to portfolio monitoring by tracking company performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting strategic initiatives that help startups scale and succeed.
