We’re looking for a highly analytical and entrepreneurial Venture Capital Analyst to join our investment team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about startups, emerging technologies, investment analysis, and identifying high-growth opportunities across various industries.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
• Conduct market, industry, and startup research to identify promising investment opportunities.
• Evaluate business models, competitive positioning, growth potential, and market dynamics of prospective investments.
• Analyze financial statements, operating metrics, and investment performance indicators.
• Assist in due diligence activities, including financial, commercial, and operational assessments.
• Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and investment memorandums.
• Monitor portfolio companies and prepare performance reports and market updates.
• Support deal sourcing activities by tracking startup ecosystems, accelerators, incubators, and industry trends.
• Prepare presentations, investment reports, and recommendations for internal stakeholders and investment committees.
• Collaborate with portfolio companies and internal teams on strategic projects and growth initiatives.
✅ Requirements
• Strong interest or experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, or startup ecosystems.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling skills.
• Strong understanding of valuation techniques, financial statements, and investment principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.
• Excellent research, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies, innovation trends, and startup funding landscapes is an advantage.
• A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
