Our client is seeking a VAT Executive to join its Tax Advisory team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of local and international clients, supporting VAT compliance, advisory services, and indirect tax matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and related filings.
- Support VAT registrations, de-registrations, and ongoing compliance.
- Assist clients with VAT advisory matters and legislative updates.
- Support VAT audits, due diligence projects, and regulatory queries.
- Liaise with the Malta Tax and Customs Administration.
- Conduct VAT research and assist with technical publications.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of VAT experience, ideally within a professional services or accounting environment.
- Master's in Accountancy, fully ACCA qualified, or in the final stages of ACCA.
- Strong knowledge of Maltese VAT legislation.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Fluent in English
