The Treasury Operations Lead position reports to the Head of Regional Treasury Services Center and is responsible for the following main activities.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and update daily cash positions and rolling liquidity forecasts under Treasury Manager guidance.
- Assist in reconciliation of bank flows with forecasts and balancing accounts.
- Support execution of treasury payments and intercompany settlements.
- Maintain documentation for treasury processes and support audit requests.
- Help with banking administration (account opening/closing, fee checks , KYC)
- Participate ACT vs. FC analysis
- Participate in 3months rolling forecasting
- Participate in projects to improve treasury processes and systems.
- Support dividend payments
- Provide administrative support for insurance renewals and intercompany loan schedules
Requirements
- Experience: while Treasury experience is preferred for this role, it is not a requirement. Applicants with general finance experience can also be considered for this position, provided that the team overall will have the right expertise balance.
- Strong analytical skills, financial acumen, accuracy and attention to details
- Ability to build strong working relationships with partners internally and also externally with banks; verbal, and written communication skills
- Team player, proactive and solution oriented
- Strong capabilities in MS Excel
- SAP knowledge
- Preferred: knowledge of cash management and treasury systems and/or accounting and/or financial analysis
- Education: Bachelor’s degree – preferably Master’s degree – in business administration, finance, accounting or economics
- Languages: fluent written and spoken English, French/Arabic is an advantage
