Treasury Accounting System Specialist serves as a back-office function within the Treasury, providing Treasury performance reports, managing, enhancing, and controlling the Treasury accounting system. They also analyze Treasury products and ensure their recording complies with applicable Accounting Standards.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile and control daily and monthly Treasury Market & EXCO P&L reports.
- Review and ensure that Treasury P&L reports are accurate, aligning with valuations, and that recording complies with applicable accounting standards.
- Analyze Treasury Products and P&Ls to explain to Treasury, Management, and the Group.
- Understand Treasury products such as Money Market, Fixed Income, and Derivatives, including their accounting.
- Maintain and control the Treasury System (accounting setup, parameters, and troubleshooting).
- Support new product setup and accounting treatment; Participate in system upgrades and enhancements; Drive automation and process improvement; Coordinate and build synergy with the Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office Treasury.
- Provide ad hoc support to Finance, Compliance, Audit, and other units.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting
- At least 3-4 year experience in related position from banking
- Understand basic concept of treasury in banking
- Good data analytics and tech savvy
- Proficient in using Ms. Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Good communication and interpersonal skill
