Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Transaction Analyst for a large enterprise client. This role is for a highly analytical professional in a high-volume Retail Billing Operations team, responsible for ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality of customer order transactions, account maintenance, and monthly billing cycles. The role supports cross-functional collaboration across IT, Marketing, Customer Care, Operations, and external partners to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Subject matter expertise development across billing, transaction management, and operational systems.
  • Analytical and technical support delivery to Customer Care, Sales, Billing Operations, and Marketing stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and correction of incoming billing and transactional errors across multiple systems.
  • Identification of data trends, anomalies, and root causes to improve accuracy and performance.
  • Collaboration with external vendors to ensure timely processing and issue resolution.
  • Development and maintenance of process documentation, controls, and operational procedures.
  • Creation and execution of User Acceptance Testing scripts for system enhancements and product launches.
  • Development of training materials and enablement programs for operational processes and tools.
  • Delivery of operational metrics reporting and status updates to key stakeholders.
  • Support for process improvement, automation initiatives, and system optimization efforts.
  • Business requirements gathering for new capabilities in partnership with IT and Product Owners.
  • Promotion of AI tools and digital solutions to improve workflow efficiency and analytical capability.

Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of professional experience in operations, IT, consulting, or project management roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Working knowledge of competitive retail energy markets preferred.
  • Experience with SAP CCS/CRM systems, particularly billing or transactional modules.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Oracle, or similar database query tools.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Power BI.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets to identify trends, errors, and operational insights.
  • Experience developing business requirements and supporting UAT processes.
  • Familiarity with process documentation, workflow analysis, and operational controls.
  • Strong understanding of data-driven decision-making within billing or transaction environments.
