Aurex is partnering with a Global oil & gas trading platform in search for a Senior Trade finance officer and a Trade Finance Officer.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Transaction Management
- Prepare and negotiate LC formats with counterparties and banks.
- Update deal recaps, monitor and handle transactions from start to end and keep transactions position.
- sheet up to date.
- Manage and allocate transactions to banks.
- Update banks about status of transactions and provide LC issuance / payment instructions when
- required.
- Reconcile hedge position and allocate them to banks.
- Prepare invoicing and document presentation to banks.
Cash Management
- Follow up receivables and payables relating to cargo financing.
- Monitor the cash position with treasury department and liaise with banks to book loans.
Finance Administration
- Assist the team in specific process enhancement projects and/or any other reporting requirements.
- Willing to take on bank account opening/KYC documentation and/or additional task/s if required.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- 10 years ( senior ) and 5 years working experience in trade commodity finance with an energy trading company or with a bank in a middle office role.
- Familiarity with technicalities of LC issuance, confirmation, discounting and other forms of transactional security is essential.
- Able to manage transactions from start to end and pre-empt potential pitfalls.
