    Overview

    We are seeking a highly analytical Telecom Expense Management Analyst to support cost optimization initiatives across telecom services, including wireless, voice, data, and IT-related expenses. This role focuses on analyzing large datasets, auditing telecom invoices, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and improving financial and operational processes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Analyze telecom expenses, usage, and invoices to identify cost savings and eliminate billing discrepancies
    • Audit wireless, voice, and data charges across major carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.)
    • Manage and analyze large datasets to ensure accuracy and data integrity
    • Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations using tools like Excel, Tableau, and Power BI
    • Track and forecast telecom budgets, expenses, and vendor payments
    • Monitor ~30,000 mobile device records and reconcile with carrier systems
    • Generate and analyze reports from ServiceNow and other financial systems
    • Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement and automation
    • Support procurement forecasting, contract tracking, and financial planning
    • Present findings and recommendations to leadership

    Required Qualifications

    • Strong experience in Telecom Expense Management (TEM)
    • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, large data analysis)
    • Experience with Tableau and/or Power BI
    • Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting experience
    • Experience auditing telecom invoices and vendor payments
    • Familiarity with ServiceNow and PeopleSoft
    • Ability to analyze large datasets and identify trends and discrepancies
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
    • Experience with SQL and database tools
    • Experience in process optimization and automation
    • Background in IT or telecom environments
