The Opportunity

Based in the Projects team and reporting through to the Senior Delivery Lead, the Technical Business Analyst role is a business facing role that works with stakeholders to understand their processes, document needs and requirements into agreed artefacts, then works with project and stakeholder teams to design, implement and test agreed technical and process changes.

What you’ll be doing

  • Discovering, eliciting, refining and modelling business requirements for agreed projects
  • Documenting processes, requirements and changes to agreed standard and format
  • Current state and future state process mapping
  • Identifying delivery and operational risks
  • Impact assessment and input to process and system solution design
  • Organising and coordinating business analysis efforts
  • Assessing the performance and value of solutions in use.

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience as a Technical Business Analyst/Business Analyst within the Banking or Financial Services space is a must.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Highly skilled in eliciting, documenting, and managing requirements for technical solutions.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences and vice-versa, with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • A selfstarter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively
