Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns
- Oversee multiple tax engagements while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with deadlines
- Deliver proactive tax planning and strategic advisory services to clients
- Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients
- Lead, mentor, and develop tax staff and senior accountants
- Research and resolve advanced tax issues and regulatory matters
- Support business development initiatives and client growth opportunities
- Assist firm leadership with workflow management and operational improvements
Qualifications
- Active CPA license required
- 7+ years of public accounting tax experience preferred
- Prior management or supervisory experience within a CPA firm
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively
- Experience with tax preparation and workflow management software
