Codon Partners is a UK based, US focused Life Science Staffing Agency, we are looking to build a long term relationship with an independent US tax advisor, CPA or Enrolled Agent, to support a growing cross border business.
This is not a typical job or contract role, we are specifically looking to work directly ideally with an individual or at a stretch a small team, not a large firm, who can act as a trusted advisor alongside our existing UK team.
We’re now looking for a US counterpart who can collaborate with our existing UK team and assist us and them where needed.
Scope of Work
- Annual US compliance
- Form 5472
- Pro‑forma Form 1120
Ongoing Advisory On
- US vs foreign‑sourced income
- Cross‑border structuring (UK – US)
- Ensuring no unintended US tax exposure (ECI)
- Ad hoc support if and when is needed
We are looking for CPA or Enrolled Agent who has experience with
- Foreign‑owned US LLCs
- Non‑resident / cross‑border tax
- Form 5472 reporting
- Comfortable working directly with founders
- Open to collaborating with UK‑based advisors
- Able to explain things clearly and pragmatically
What I’m NOT looking for
- Large firms where work is passed to juniors
- Pure bookkeeping or payroll services
- High‑volume tax preparation shops
Engagement
- Ongoing long term relationship
- Lean, practical, and advisory led
- Preference for direct communication with the individual handling the work
