About The Job
At SYNLAB Italy, we are shaping the future of medical diagnostics, and we are looking for the finance leaders of tomorrow. We are excited to launch the Finance Leadership Program (FLP), a path designed for ambitious graduates seeking accelerated growth and a 360° view of the Finance world and interested to build a career within a corporate finance function.
This is not just an internship, but an entry point to join SYNLAB’s Finance organization with the objective of offering a permanent role at the end of the 6-month period, subject to performance and business needs. From day one, you will have the opportunity to learn, contribute and rotate across key areas of the Finance function, including Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, and M&A. You will gain hands-on experience in an international environment, working closely with senior finance professionals and developing a broad understanding of how Finance supports strategic decision-making and business performance.
This is a true gateway program for high-potential graduates who want to grow into future finance leaders.
Your First Challenge: Controlling
The entry area for the upcoming internship starting in September will be within Controlling. Here, you will have the opportunity to support Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Business Controlling, and production cost control, combining analytical work with direct exposure to business dynamics.
Requisiti:
What you will bring:
- Education: Master’s Degree (completed or near completion) in Economics, Finance, Management Engineering, or related fields, with an academic track focused on management, controlling, data analysis or corporate finance.
- Hard Skills: knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial statement analysis, and valuation methods (DCF, multiples, comparables). Knowledge of advanced analytics is a significant plus.
- Agility & proactivity: ability to adapt quickly, take initiative, and contribute with a curious and learning-oriented mindset. We look for people who ask good questions, embrace new challenges, and proactively seek opportunities to improve, grow, and create impact.
- Languages fluency: English is a prerequisite, as the role involves working in an international environment and interfacing with global HQ.
- Other requirements (plus): advanced analytics, Data science foundations, Financial modelling

- Hours: Full-Time
- Home Office Policy: 3 days in the office, 2 days anywhere
