About the job

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our Regulatory & Resolution Affairs team. The role offers broad exposure to banking regulations, financial/prudential reporting, management information (MIS) and supervisory frameworks, guidelines and policies. The successful candidate will contribute to the coordination of supervisory matters, regulatory reporting activities and information submissions, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of information to supervisory authorities and senior management.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and coordinate the submission of supervisory reports, regulatory responses and information requests to the ECB/SSM/JST, SRB/NRA, Bank of Greece and other supervisory authorities.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Risk and Business teams to collect, validate and consolidate financial, regulatory and management information required for supervisory reporting and regulatory submissions.
  • Act as a liaison between supervisory authorities and internal stakeholders, ensuring accurate, timely and consistent responses to regulatory requests and information submissions.
  • Prepare presentations, briefing materials and management updates on supervisory matters, regulatory developments and ongoing supervisory initiatives.
  • Monitor developments in the European banking regulatory framework and assess their impact on the Bank's reporting obligations, supervisory priorities and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • BSc in Finance, Business, Banking, Economics, Risk Management or a related field.
  • MSc in a relevant discipline will be considered an advantage.
  • 3-6 years professional experience in Regulatory Advisory, Risk Management, or Internal Audit units within financial services, or consulting industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, management information systems (MIS), managerial reporting, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and verbal.
  • Good knowledge of the European banking regulatory framework, including ECB, SSM, SRB, and EBA requirements.
  • Familiarity with supervisory processes such as SREP, ICAAP, ILAAP, Recovery Planning or Resolution Planning would be considered a strong asset.
  • Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
