Strategy & Planning Associate, Country Launch & Expansion Jobs in Finland at Uber
Title: Strategy & Planning Associate, Country Launch & Expansion
Company: Uber
Location: Finland
About The Role
We're looking for a Strategy & Planning Associate to drive the program management of new country launches across EMEA before transitioning to lead Strategy & Planning for Denmark and Finland post-launch.
This role sits at the center of Uber Eats' expansion agenda. You'll serve as the strategic orchestrator across launch waves – owning cross-functional alignment, governance, launch readiness, and executive reporting – while acting as a thought partner to regional EMEA leadership. High impact, high visibility, and a direct line to some of the most consequential work happening across the region.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end program governance for concurrent country launches – owning launch roadmaps, critical path milestones, cross-functional alignment, and executive reporting across MBRs, QBRs, and board-level updates.
- Run structured launch processes and proactively drive resolution of blockers across Legal, Policy, Ops, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Compliance.
- Develop insight-driven narratives on launch performance and risks for EMEA leadership; standardize playbooks for repeatability at scale.
- Transition post-launch into Strategy & Planning lead for Denmark and Finland – owning country strategy, OKR tracking, and deep-dive analyses.
- Act as thought partner to regional EMEA leadership, connecting insights across markets and ensuring alignment with global priorities.
What you'll have
- 3+ years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity, or high-growth tech, with a proven track record leading complex, cross-functional programs or market launches.
- Strong analytical capabilities with SQL skills and structured problem-solving ability; comfortable building complex datasets and driving decisions from data independently
- Demonstrated experience scaling zero-to-one initiatives, building processes from scratch, and managing multiple high-stakes workstreams under time pressure.
Bonus points for
- Experience managing multi-market or international expansion programs, with strong governance design skills across OKRs, steering forums, and milestone tracking.
- Exceptional executive communication – able to synthesize complexity into sharp, insight-driven narratives and present confidently to senior regional leadership.
- Proven ability to align cross-functional stakeholders toward shared outcomes in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
- High resilience and ownership mentality – someone who thrives managing parallel workstreams under pressure and has a consistent bias toward action.
