- Responsible for driving the operational excellence and business performance of Treats stores within the assigned territory.
- Serves as the primary business partner and consultant to Treats franchisees by ensuring compliance with company standards, implementing business initiatives, identifying growth opportunities, and providing operational guidance to improve sales, profitability, and customer experience.
Job Description
- Oversees the operational performance of Treats stores within the assigned area, ensuring compliance with company policies, operating standards, merchandising guidelines, food safety requirements, and customer service standards.
- Conducts regular store visits to evaluate operations, merchandising execution, housekeeping, product availability, equipment condition, inventory management, and overall store readiness. Identifies gaps and recommends corrective actions.
- Reviews store sales, profitability, product mix, shrinkage, and other key performance indicators. Provides business recommendations and action plans to improve store performance.
- Acts as the business consultant and primary point of contact for Treats franchisees by providing guidance on store operations, financial performance, merchandising, inventory management, and local marketing initiatives.
- Assists franchisees in planning and executing local store marketing activities and promotional programs to increase customer traffic and sales while ensuring alignment with national marketing campaigns.
- Ensures timely and effective implementation of company programs, promotions, new product launches, pricing initiatives, merchandising standards, and operational procedures across all assigned stores.
- Monitors product assortment, inventory availability, and planogram compliance to ensure optimum product presentation and minimize stock-outs.
- Conducts regular market intelligence and competitive assessments, including monitoring competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and emerging market trends. Recommends initiatives to strengthen Treats' competitive position.
- Coordinates operational requirements and resolves store concerns with cross-functional groups, including Retail Engineering & Development (REND), Category Management, Marketing, MISD, Supply Chain, Finance, and the Non-Fuel Business Group to ensure timely support to franchisees.
- Administers franchise-related transactions, including the billing and reconciliation of sales commissions, POS rentals, equipment rentals, and other applicable charges.
- Ensures that all company circulars, operating guidelines, policies, and communications are properly disseminated, understood, and implemented by franchisees and store personnel.
- Identifies operational improvement opportunities and recommends initiatives to enhance productivity, customer satisfaction, and business profitability.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications
- Must have Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Entrepreneurship, Industrial Engineering, or any related field.
- Must have at least 3–5 years of relevant working experience in convenience store, retail, food service, quick service restaurant (QSR), or franchise operations.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Must have excellent customer service skills, impeccable honesty and integrity, and initiative
- Experience in managing multiple stores or territories is an advantage.
- Must have strong knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, inventory management, sales analysis, and customer service.
- Must have familiarity with franchise operations and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with franchisees and business partners.
- Must have good understanding of profit and loss (P&L), sales performance analysis, budgeting, and key retail performance indicators.
