Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Stock Broker / Securities Broker based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with flexibility for some work-from-home. The role involves executing client orders for equities and other listed securities, monitoring market movements, and providing timely trading recommendations within regulatory and company guidelines. The broker will advise clients on investment opportunities, portfolio allocation, and risk management, ensuring clear and compliant communication. Daily tasks include building and maintaining client relationships, responding to client inquiries, preparing basic market updates, and coordinating with research, operations, and compliance teams. The role also involves using trading platforms and internal systems, staying current on market news and regulations, and contributing to business development activities such as client onboarding and presentations.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Trading and Stockbroking, including order execution, market monitoring, and use of trading platforms.
- Solid understanding of Investments and Finance, with the ability to interpret market data, financial reports, and economic trends.
- Knowledge of Brokerage operations, including account opening, order routing, settlement processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills, with a service-minded and ethical approach.
- Analytical and quantitative abilities, with attention to detail and sound judgment under time pressure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; relevant securities or brokerage certifications in Vietnam are a strong advantage.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, with the ability to collaborate in-office and manage tasks independently from home.
- Proficiency in MS Office and trading/market information systems; familiarity with Vietnamese markets and regulations is preferred.
