We are looking for a Statutory Manager to join our multinational partner’s team.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong statutory accounting expertise. You will support the team during peak periods, provide technical guidance, and ensure high-quality, compliant, and timely delivery across multiple EMEA jurisdictions, while driving standardization and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 13 statutory professionals with 2 supervisors
- Act as a hands-on expert, supporting complex cases and peak workloads
- Review outputs, financial statements, and key accounting judgments
- Manage stakeholder relationships (Country Controllers, auditors, tax, EMEA finance)
- Oversee statutory reporting, audits, and GAAP-to-statutory reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and deadlines
- Drive transitions, process improvements, and automation initiatives
- Act as main contact for external auditors and lead audit cycles end-to-end
Requirements:
- 5+ years of statutory accounting experience, 2+ in leadership
- Strong knowledge of local GAAP and multinational environments
- Experience managing cross-location teams (SSC preferred)
- Hands-on mindset with strong stakeholder management skills
- ERP knowledge, advanced Excel, and solid compliance understanding
