Contract Staff Accountant | Consumer Brand | New York (Hybrid)
One of our clients is partnering with a high-growth, consumer-facing brand operating across e-commerce, brick-and-mortar, wholesale, and influencer-driven revenue streams (~$45MM ARR) to find a detail-oriented Contract Staff Accountant during an exciting period of growth and transformation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing daily cash transactions across multiple revenue streams
- Supporting AP processing, coding, and reconciliations
- Preparing bank, balance sheet, prepaid, and accrual reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end close and financial data entry
- Keeping records organized and documentation audit-ready
- Collaborating directly with finance leadership to identify process gaps
You're a Great Fit If You Have
- Solid transactional accounting skills — AP, accruals, reconciliations
- Experience in a CPG, retail, or e-commerce environment (big plus)
- Hands-on QuickBooks experience (required)
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory tools like Sage (helpful, not required)
- High attention to detail and comfort working in evolving, manual environments
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
The Setup
- Contract role
- Hybrid — 1 day in-office per week (Tuesdays preferred)
- Fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture with a collaborative team
- Report directly to the Accounting/Finance lead
