Staff Accountant Responsibilities
- Lead ad hoc financial analysis, scenario modeling, and strategic initiatives
- Support expansion efforts, capital projects, and operational improvements
- Assist with month‑end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support financial reporting and balance sheet maintenance
- Help ensure expenses and transactions are recorded accurately and timely
- Partner with accounting and operations teams on day‑to‑day financial activities
- Assist with audit preparation and internal documentation
- Contribute to process improvements as the organization continues to scale
Staff Accountant Qualifications
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field - Preferred: 1-3+ years of accounting experience (public or industry)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Clear communicator who works well in a team
Salary Range
70K-80K
