📢 Our client is hiring a Staff Accountant (AR)
If you're an accountant who likes ownership, not just tasks, this one's for you.
Our clients is a fast-moving company looking for a sharp Staff Accountant to own their Accounts Receivable function end to end. This includes invoicing, cash application, credits, chargebacks, and reconciliations.
You'll also support month and year-end close, band and balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end reporting as part of a small, collaborative accounting team.
This isn't a heads-down, process-the-queue kind of role. You'll be cross-trained across general accounting, contribute to process improvements, and take on projects that go beyond the day-to-day. 💡
The team are a fun, friendly bunch who take their work seriously but not themselves. If you like a good chat and a laugh alongside the spreadsheets, you'll fit right in. 😄
What you'll bring:
🎓 Bachelor's in Accounting; CPA preferred
📊 3+ years of accounting experience with solid AR background
💻 Strong Excel skills and comfort with ERP systems (RLM a plus)
🛍️ Background ideally in wholesale; retail and/or e-commerce also a plus
🗣️ Clear communicator who can hold their own with internal and external stakeholders
✅ Self-starter mentality; you spot problems and fix them without being asked
