Full-Time | In-Office (Monday through Friday)
A growing and reputable organization is in need of a contract Staff Accountant to step in and help keep day-to-day financial operations running efficiently. This individual will take ownership of routine accounting tasks, helping to balance workload across the team and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Handle day-to-day payables, including reviewing invoices and coordinating vendor disbursements
- Support receivables by issuing invoices and monitoring collections activity
- Assist with maintaining the general ledger, including preparing and entering journal entries
- Participate in the month-end close process and help ensure timelines are met
- Perform account reconciliations and follow up on any inconsistencies
- Work across multiple entities, supporting intercompany accounting needs
- Use accounting platforms such as Quick Books and Visual ERP to track and maintain financial data
- Partner with internal teams to align costs with projects and ensure proper expense tracking
- Keep financial records organized and compliant with standard accounting practices
- Provide support with reporting and help identify trends or variances
What We’re Looking For:
- At least one year of accounting experience with exposure to payables, receivables, and ledger work
- Familiarity with Quick Books, Visual ERP, and Excel (comfortable using formulas and data tools)
- Understanding of general accounting standards and processes
- Strong organizational skills with a sharp eye for detail
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and work within deadlines
- Team-oriented mindset with solid communication skills
- Someone who can take initiative and work through problems independently

Compensation: $60,000 – $65,000
