B V L G A R I is seeking a Sr. Manager, Marketing and Communications to join its Mexico team!
Reporting to the Country Brand Director in Mexico, with a dotted line to the Regional Sr. Director for Brand Communication & Marketing, this hybrid position is based out of the Mexico City office in Mexico.
The Sr. Manager, Marketing and Communications for Mexico will lead the local execution of marketing, communications, PR, and event initiatives in alignment with regional strategy, HQ guidelines, and local business priorities. The role is responsible for strengthening brand visibility, supporting commercial objectives, and ensuring excellence in execution across client, press, trade, and business partner channels.

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the implementation of the local annual marketing and communication plan in the assigned area, in alignment with Regional strategy, HQ guidelines, and local business priorities, ensuring close coordination with the Regional Office and Country Brand Director.
- Develop and implement local action plans for press relations initiatives alongside the Regional PR & Brand team, ensuring appropriate media coverage and maximizing brand awareness and visibility in alignment with brand guidelines and objectives.
- Own and manage the market’s marketing and communication budget in close coordination with the Regional Office and Finance, ensuring accurate planning, allocation, tracking, and alignment with approved business priorities.
- Work with Regional Trade Marketing and Performance Events teams to devise and implement strategies and initiatives focused on driving sales and improving relations with clients.
- Define and implement promotional activity plans for all sales channels and ensure appropriate project management for their implementation, supervising the local adaptation and deployment of marketing materials (CRM, BTL, etc.) in alignment with Regional and HQ direction.
- Lead the planning and execution of local customer, press, and trade events in alignment with business priorities, ensuring strong coordination with the Regional Office and relevant stakeholders.
- Identify and implement sponsorship and branding activations aligned with brand strategy, local market opportunities, and regional/HQ direction.
- Provide constant information and analysis on market trends and evolutions, market share, competitors, and launches to support local and regional decision-making.
- Ensure regular alignment and reporting to the Country Brand Director on key initiatives, priorities, results, and budget status.
Plan, Execute, & Manage – Event & Activations
- Partner with the Regional Office on event concept development, planning, and approvals, ensuring alignment with HQ guidelines, brand objectives, and local business priorities.
- Lead the local rollout of regional or HQ-led event concepts and contribute to the development of market-relevant initiatives when appropriate.
- Oversee vendor selection and the production of event support materials, including invitations, menus, gifting, and collateral, in line with approval processes.
- Prepare post-event reports and ROI analysis, highlighting results, learnings, and recommendations.
- Ensure timely processing of invoices and accurate budget tracking for all marketing and event-related activities.
Wholesale co-op plans, events and activations
- Define the market co-op strategy with the BP Manager, in alignment with regional priorities and local business objectives.
- Oversee co-op plan approvals, budget allocation, and execution in coordination with the Regional Office and relevant stakeholders.
- Track and report on co-op activation results and ROI, ensuring key outcomes are shared with relevant stakeholders.
Budgets
- Collaborate with the Regional Office and Finance on budget planning, allocation, control, and reforecasting for the market.
- Monitor budget performance and maintain accurate budget control files, ensuring timely visibility on YTD status and key updates.
- Recommend adjustments based on business priorities, ROI, and approved plans.
Public Relations & Branding Activities
- Develop and execute PR and branding activities in alignment with regional strategy, HQ guidelines, and local market priorities.
- Recommend actions to strengthen brand positioning across visibility, communication, traditional, and digital channels.
- Ensure a coherent and consistent Bulgari brand image across all local initiatives.
- Facilitate and nurture relationships with press and KOLs.
- Manage social media coverage and liaise with influencers for local initiatives, in line with Regional guidance and approval processes where required.
- Support the development and production of PR reports for HQ, ensuring timely, accurate, and relevant market feedback.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing or Business Administration required.
- MBA a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years retail marketing experience, including CRM, Client Experience, Events and Visual Merchandising.
- PR experience in the regions mentioned, with particular knowledge of the Mexican editorial market (editorial negotiations, planning, influencer relationships, DMR/Editorial Link, production, dressing support, and control).
- Excellence and precision in managing and controlling budgets.
- Skilled in preparing presentations.
- Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation.
- Experience in relevant luxury brands.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity.
- Flexibility and resourcefulness.
- Professional proficiency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
