JOB DESCRIPTION

Wealth Planning & Advice is a group of experts in trusts & estates, tax planning, financial planning and planning in related areas for individuals and their entities (operating businesses, private foundations, etc.). Our role is to serve a Planning Center of Excellence and work with advisors and their clients to educate them about wealth planning opportunities both simple (e.g., asset titling, beneficiary designations) and complex (e.g., GRATs, split-interest trusts). We provide intellectual capital to clients across the wealth continuum and will work on-on-one with clients in appropriate circumstances.

As a Wealth Planning Associate within the Wealth Planning & Advice team, you will be primarily responsible for assisting with strategic, business management, administrative support, and operational functions. Your role will involve a keen interest in Wealth Management and Financial and Estate Planning, with the ability to research and comprehend planning concepts and strategies. You will be expected to collaborate and partner closely with our Wealth Planners, field leadership, Chase Wealth Management & J.P. Morgan Advisors, and several internal partners such as Solutions & Advice Business Management, marketing, legal, content & communications, practice management, etc. Your role will be crucial in gathering information, formulating insights, and enhancing the overall services offered by our team.

Job Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and distribution of team communications and presentations, both internal and external
Collect and consolidate data to assess the effectiveness and opportunities for the team in various markets
Manage strategic and tactical business management initiatives with an eye towards client, firm, advisor and business impact
Identify scalable projects and develop solutions to bring the team’s wealth planning expertise and advice to a broader audience (i.e., the entire advisor field)
Act as liaison between our group and other internal partners (practice management, communications, product teams, Salesforce/Advisor Central data teams, etc.) to help drive new initiatives and promote our business with the field
Collaborate with Wealth Management Divisional and Market Leads to develop strategies for identifying and addressing underutilized markets for greater client engagement
Provide administrative assistance to the WPA West Divisional and Market Leads, including scheduling meetings, managing calendar and travel, and preparing reports.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Two years of experience in Financial Services, in a Wealth Management related field
An interest in holistic wealth management and financial/ estate planning
Ability to handle numerous projects and deliverables at once and successfully prioritize their workload
