A Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) leads an organization’s budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. They partner with executives to translate complex data into actionable insights, oversee performance tracking, and drive profitability. The role requires 10+ years of corporate finance experience and advanced proficiency in financial modeling.
Core Responsibilitie
- sStrategic Planning: Own the annual budgeting process and long-range financial planning (LRP).
- [Forecasting: Develop and maintain consolidated, driver-based financial models (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow) for rolling forecasts
- .Performance Analysis: Conduct monthly variance analyses, comparing actual performance against forecasts to identify risks and opportunities
- .Business Partnering: Serve as the primary finance lead for cross-functional department heads to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and manage operational spending
- .Executive Reporting: Prepare financial presentations and dashboards for C-suite executives, boards of directors, and investors
- .Process Improvement: Optimize planning tools (e.g., Planful, Vareto, NetSuite) and drive automation within the finance team
- .Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and develop a team of financial analysts and managers.
