A fast-growing, private equity-backed CPG company is seeking a Senior Director of Finance to serve as a strategic partner to the CFO and play a critical leadership role as the organization prepares for a future IPO. This individual will be positioned as the natural successor to step into a Vice President of Finance role as the company scales. This is a high-visibility role requiring a strong operator who understands both growth-stage execution and public-company readiness.
- Comp is $190k-$225k base plus bonus
Responsibilities:
- Act as the CFO’s right hand in driving financial strategy, forecasting, and board-level reporting
- Lead enterprise-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Support IPO readiness initiatives, including financial controls, audit preparation, and reporting enhancements
- Partner with PE stakeholders and executive leadership on performance metrics, capital strategy, and growth initiatives
- Build and scale financial infrastructure, systems, and reporting processes
- Develop KPI dashboards to support revenue growth, margin optimization, and working capital efficiency
- Oversee financial modeling tied to new product launches, channel expansion, and M&A initiatives
- Manage and mentor a high-performing finance team
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, and Marketing
- Drive NetSuite optimization and system scalability in preparation for public reporting standards
Required Qualifications:
- 15+ years of progressive finance experience
- Background in Consumer Packaged Goods required
- Prior experience in a high-growth, PE-backed or IPO-track environment strongly preferred
- Proven success leading large-scale budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Strong executive presence and board-level communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop teams
- Deep financial modeling and analytical capabilities
- NetSuite experience required
- CPA or MBA preferred
