Job Purpose

The Sourcing & Contracting Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that ensure the timely, cost-effective, and sustainable procurement of goods and services required by the business. The role leads supplier sourcing, commercial negotiations, and contract management while ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and procurement best practices. The manager works closely with internal stakeholders to optimize supplier performance, reduce procurement risks, and generate long-term value for the organization.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Source all the needed Local/Imported Packaging and Raw Materials for implemented projects as well as New Initiatives in all categories, i.e. Juice, Dairy & Chilled.
  • Monitor Products CIU/P&L for New Initiated Projects to ensure that the price of Materials used are within the acceptable cost objective.
  • Handle requests for information, quotations, proposals, and bidding processes.
  • Negotiate prices, delivery, and payment terms for all raw and packaging materials.
  • Conclude annual and semi-annual contracts for local and imported Raw/ Packaging Materials to ensure availability and minimize the total cost of purchases.
  • Develop and implement procedures for contract management in compliance with company policy.
  • Establish monthly packaging material and seasonal raw material reports following the market price levels.
  • Monitor price movement for strategic commodities, petrochemicals and paper market currencies.
  • Introduce the latest trends of Raw Materials and Packaging ideas aligning with the company’s vision and policy.
  • Arrange regular audit trips to local and foreign suppliers to ensure that production capacities and quality measures are followed in line with the needs of the company.
  • Oversee the procurement of all direct raw and packaging materials required for the company’s innovations and projects.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new vendors and the validation of new materials, ensuring compliance with documentation requirements.
  • Facilitate the seamless execution of trials for raw and packaging materials, from the initial sourcing of samples to the completion of industrial trials, working closely with stakeholders including Finance, Business Development, Marketing, R&D, Quality, and Packaging Development.
  • Participate actively in the company’s bi-monthly/monthly product review meetings, providing comprehensive updates on material status and expected project timelines.
  • Participate in e-bids for sourcing of strategic commodities ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to company requirements.
  • Attend local and international exhibitions to stay updated with the latest market trends, insights, and innovations.
  • Engage with industry professionals and explore new products, technologies, and processes to enhance company operations and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department and team and conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

What You Will Bring To The Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or any equivalent qualification.
  • From +10 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or contract management.
  • Experience within the Food & Beverage, FMCG, manufacturing, or related industries is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing complex sourcing projects, supplier negotiations, and commercial contracts.
  • Solid understanding of procurement regulations, contract law principles, and supplier risk management.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) and procurement platforms.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and commercial acumen.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement reporting tools.
  • English language fluency is a must.
