Role Description The Senior Vice President of Global Operations is a full-time, hybrid role based in Worcester, MA, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role oversees global operational activities, ensuring that processes, systems, and teams support the fund’s investment strategies and performance objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading operations management across regions, driving operational excellence initiatives, and optimizing supply chain and vendor relationships that support infrastructure assets. The SVP will develop and execute strategic operational plans, coordinate cross-functional projects, and establish standards and metrics for efficiency, quality, and compliance. The role also involves mentoring operations leaders, managing budgets, partnering with investment and finance teams, and reporting on operational performance to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Operations Management and Operational Excellence, with a track record of improving processes, efficiency, and performance on a global scale.
- Proficiency in Supply Chain Management, including vendor oversight, logistics coordination, and optimization of support services for infrastructure assets.
- Strong Strategic Planning skills, with experience aligning operations with long-term business objectives and growth initiatives.
- Advanced Project Management capabilities, including leading complex, cross-border projects, managing timelines and resources, and delivering results.
- Extensive leadership experience in infrastructure, asset management, financial services, or a related sector.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating with on-site and remote teams across multiple time zones.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present operational insights to executive leadership.
- Relevant advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master’s in Operations, Finance, or related field) preferred; professional certifications in operations or project management (e.g., PMP, Lean, Six Sigma) are an advantage.
