This role is based in Lever Style Shenzhen office, with daily shuttle provided for commuting between Hong Kong and Shenzhen.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Lead the company's overall financial and capital strategy in alignment with corporate goals.
- Partner closely with the C-suite, Board, and senior management for strategic decision-making and long-term value creation.
- Oversee global budgeting, cash flow, capital allocation, and investment strategies to ensure growth sustainability.
- Provide robust financial modelling, forecasting, and scenario planning for business initiatives, including investment or divestment, and market expansions.
Investor Relations & Capital Markets
- Lead all aspects of M&A deal execution, from origination to closing, including sourcing, due diligence, valuation, negotiation, structuring, documentation, and integration. Build and leverage an extensive industry network to proactively expand the company’s deal pipeline.
- Liaise effectively with investment banks, institution investors, analysts, financial partners, auditors, legal counsel, and regulators.
- Ensure corporate governance and financial reporting meet HKEX standards and best practices.
- Effectively communicate the company’s business and financial vision to global investment community.
Operational Transformation & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team (end-to-end finance operations) that partners effectively with business units and different functions. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional excellence within the finance department.
- Fortify integrated risk frameworks (finance, tax, legal, compliance) while preserving operational agility.
- Proactively identify, assess, and provide a forward-looking view on top and emerging risks and issues within company risk map, developing mitigating strategies where and when necessary.
- Optimize statutory, tax compliance, finance and legal structure across jurisdictions.
CANDIDATE SPCIFICATION:
- University graduate or above with major in Finance or Economics, and HKCGI / HKICS / CFA / CMA is preferred.
- At least 15 years of senior financial leadership experience. Proven track record in managing multi-entity, multi-country operations within international organizations.
- Strong experience in corporate finance, fundraising, and capital markets (exposure to public listings is a must); expertise in M&A, restructuring, and transformation projects.
- Experience in manufacturing and investment banking is highly preferred.
- Fluent in Chinese and English; excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and the ability to lead diverse teams across geographies.
- Strong conceptual and critical thinking skills; able to identify and assess key issues rather than simply filtering and reprocessing information.
- Adaptive, comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environment.
