Description:
Freeman Boatworks, recognized around the world for quality, performance, and comfort, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our growing team. This is a new position, and we’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic recent graduate to help elevate our financial operations across multiple business segments. This role will help with accounting and bookkeeping responsibilities, as well as financial analysis and forecasting for multiple business segments. This individual will be instrumental in supporting profitability analysis, and decision-making across the entire company.
Key Responsibilities:
Full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting, including AP/AR, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end close.
Build and maintain sales orders and BOMs in the ERP system.
Estimate revenue and profit margins for individual production builds.
Prepare P&L estimates for all change orders.
Collaborate with the Sales team on profitability targets and analyze budget vs. actuals (AvB) per build.
Partner with Accounting to develop forecasts and explanations for AvB variances.
Deliver monthly presentations on key financial and profitability metrics to upper management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
0–2 years of full-time professional experience.
Strong Excel skills, including formulas and functions; financial modeling experience a plus.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
