We are hiring a Senior Officer – Procurement (IT Category) to join Abu Dhabi Airports and support the end-to-end procure-to-pay cycle, with a strong focus on IT goods and services procurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full RFQ and Purchase Order lifecycle for IT-related procurement requirements
- Review requisitions and engage with IT stakeholders to define scope, specifications, and evaluation criteria
- Conduct market research and supplier sourcing for IT vendors and solutions
- Develop tender strategy and bidder lists, and obtain approvals
- Issue RFQs, manage clarifications, and coordinate technical and commercial evaluations
- Support evaluation committees for IT hardware, software, infrastructure, and services
- Lead commercial negotiations with IT suppliers and recommend award decisions
- Prepare Purchase Orders and manage approvals and supplier acceptance
- Oversee delivery of IT goods/services and ensure compliance with SLAs
- Manage PO variations, disputes, and vendor claims in coordination with Legal and stakeholders
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with procurement governance and audit requirements
- Support framework agreements for recurring IT requirements (hardware, software, managed services, etc.)
- Coordinate payment processing and support audit requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in IT category (mandatory)
- Experience in procurement of IT hardware, software, infrastructure, telecom, or digital services
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and e-tendering platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- Strong negotiation, analytical thinking, and supplier management skills in IT environment
