Barden has been exclusively engaged on a key appointment for a Senior Manager – Group Finance within a large, complex organisation based in Dublin to join their high-performing team.
This is a high-impact role at the centre of the finance function, with responsibility for leading best-in-class external reporting and supporting a strong governance and control environment. Working closely with senior leadership, this person will play a critical role in delivering high-quality financial outputs and shaping the organisation’s financial narrative.

About the role
- Take ownership for the integrity and delivery of all external financial reporting
- Lead the preparation of annual and interim results, ensuring clarity, accuracy and compliance
- Drive a robust, high-quality reporting and control environment
- Partner closely with senior stakeholders, providing insight, challenge and assurance
- Manage audit relationships and support complex accounting matters
- Play a key role in shaping the Group’s financial narrative and external disclosures
- Drive high standards across governance, risk and controls
- Support and develop a high-performing team
About the person
- Qualified accountant with at least 7 years PQE.
- Proven track record in Group Reporting within a plc or listed environment, or audit with plc exposure
- Deep expertise in financial reporting, audit and technical accounting
- Strong presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Commercially aware, with sound judgement and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organised, detail-oriented and delivery focused
- A proactive team player who drives high standards and accountability
