Financial accounting and reporting
Manage monthly book closure, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements
Oversee accruals and provisions to reflect true financial position
Prepare and review reconciliations for accounts, vendors, and inter-company transactions.
Audit and Compliance
Coordinate statutory and internal audits, ensuring adherence to applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with taxation laws (Direct & Indirect), including GST, TDS, and corporate tax filings.
Maintain documentation and support for audit queries.
MIS & Performance Tracking
Develop and deliver monthly MIS reports for management, highlighting key financial and operational metrics.
Conduct variance analysis (Budget vs. Actual) and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Process Improvement
Streamline finance processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Implement best practices in financial controls, documentation, and reporting.
Qualifications & Skills
Chartered Accountant (CA) with minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in advertising/media or service industries.
Strong knowledge of audit, taxation, and statutory compliance.
Hands-on experience in monthly book closure, accruals, provisions, and MIS reporting.
Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel; exposure to BI tools is an advantage.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
