Manager / Sr. Manager – Business Case Assessment(Iraq Mega Projects Consultancy Programme)

THE ROLEWe are seeking to hire an exceptional individual with 7-10 years of consulting experience.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in conducting
financial analysis
and business case assessments to support the development of national-level strategies across key economic sectors and inform policy formulation. The role provides the opportunity to work closely with national authorities to make a meaningful contribution, promoting sustainable economic growth and social development.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESEvaluate and analyse financial, market and operational data to support the development of comprehensive business cases.
Conduct in-depth market assessments, including supply and demand analysis to understand market dynamics as well as competitive market landscapes.
Build and develop advanced financial models, including IRR, NPV, Payback period, and ROI to analyse the financial feasibility of projects.
Perform sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to address project uncertainties and external influences.
Evaluate project business and operating models, identifying opportunities for
innovation
and efficiency improvement.
Prepare and present clear and concise presentations of business cases to senior decision makers.
Ad-hoc analysis on topics of importance to the client.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEAdvanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Professional qualification such as CFA (or progress toward CFA) is a plus7-10 years of relevant work experience ideally in consulting,
financial analysis
, or
strategic planning
Demonstrated expertise in financial modelling,
investment analysis
, and business case development
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and
financial analysis
tools
Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills
Exceptional
communication
and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholder
Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines
COMPETENCIESAbility to work in
interdisciplinary
teams
Excellent interpersonal, communications and presentation skills
Outstanding written and oral skills in English Knowledge of Arabic is desirable
