Your new role
As a Senior Analyst, Real Estate Acquisitions & Investments, you will play a key role throughout the full investment lifecycle — from initial underwriting to acquisition, development, financing, and asset management.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building, optimizing, and maintaining detailed financial models for acquisitions, developments, dispositions, and investor returns.
- Supporting due diligence processes for acquisition opportunities.
- Preparing investment committee presentations and investor reporting materials.
- Presenting financial analyses and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Calculating project and investor returns (IRR, profit sharing, cash flows).
- Collaborating closely with internal teams (design, construction, sales, accounting, etc.) to ensure accurate financial tracking of development projects.
- Continuously improving internal financial tools and models.
- Monitoring industry trends and market intelligence to support investment strategy.
This role offers exposure to large‑scale transactions and developments, positioning you for strong career growth within real estate investments.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in real estate, private investments, or a transactional environment.
- Strong financial modelling skills in Excel (advanced functions required).
- Experience preparing professional presentations for investors or senior executives.
- CFA or CPA designation (or in progress) is an asset.
- Familiarity with real estate financial analysis, due diligence, and underwriting.
- Knowledge of Maestro is an asset.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
- Functional bilingualism is considered an asset.
