The Opportunity
Our client is a high growth, Private Equity backed technology business with a strong market position and continued global expansion. The business operates in a highly commercial and performance driven environment, with ongoing investment in the finance function to support strategic decision making.
They are seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join a high calibre team. This is a high impact role, working closely with senior leadership to deliver financial insights that shape performance, investment decisions and overall growth strategy.
The Challenge
Reporting to the Head of FP&A and working closely with senior leadership, your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the monthly reporting cycle, including preparation of board packs, performance analysis and executive insights
- Support and progressively take ownership of the group budgeting and forecasting processes
- Develop and maintain financial models to support planning, scenario analysis and business performance tracking
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to support commercial decision making and drive financial outcomes
- Analyse key business drivers including revenue, margin and cost performance
- Support preparation of business cases, investment analysis and strategic initiatives
- Contribute to M&A and broader corporate development activity
- Identify opportunities to improve planning, reporting and overall financial processes
- Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
The Expertise
To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
- CA or CPA qualification, or working towards completion
- 3 to 6 years’ experience in FP&A, commercial finance or a similar environment
- Strong capability across budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
- Strong financial modelling skills and advanced Excel capability
- Exposure to Power BI or similar tools viewed favourably
- A commercial mindset with strong stakeholder engagement capability
- Experience within a Private Equity backed business or Big 4 / leading mid tier Deals, Transactions or Corporate Finance teams will be highly regarded
