$170,000 – $190,000 per annum plus leading benefits & bonus.
Responsibilities
- Partner with pre-clinical and clinical operations, R&D and other stakeholders to prepare, budgets, forecasts and long-range financial plans
- Serve as a trusted financial thought partner providing insights and recommendations to guide decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analyses
- Support the month-end close activities in partnership with Accounting, including generating monthly accruals and spend analyses
- Approve, track, and manage vendor commitments, purchase orders, and invoices to ensure proper financial control
- Support the financial reporting process, including delivering actionable insights through financial dashboards, variance analysis, KPI tracking and management reports
- Support strategic initiatives through scenario modelling and ad-hoc financial analyses to support decision making
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy of financial planning and reporting
