Senior Financial Planner Jobs in Kent, UK at Financial Divisions
Position: Senior Financial Planner – £70,000 – £120,000 (negotiable) bonus
Benefits: 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, dedicated admin and paraplanning support My client is a Chartered, independent wealth planning firm with offices across Kent. They provide whole-of-market financial advice to high-net-worth retirees, wealth accumulators, local families and SME owners across Kent, Sussex and London. The firm currently looks after around 2,000 clients with over £650m in assets under management, with individual client portfolios ranging from £150k to £20m.
Advice spans pensions, investments, tax planning, cashflow modelling, retirement planning and protection, alongside more specialist areas such as VCT and EIS schemes. Crucially, advisers here are not targeted. The firm’s philosophy is built on delivering the best possible client outcomes rather than accumulating AUM — an approach underpinned by longstanding referral relationships with local accountancy and solicitor practices. This is a multi-award-winning business that is genuinely embedded in its local community, actively supporting events and championing charitable causes.
Exceptional client care sits at the heart of everything they do, reflected in outstanding retention rates — some client relationships stretch back more than 20 years. Advisers are supported by an experienced, pooled team of Administrators and Paraplanners across two offices, all of whom are encouraged to develop professionally and personally through ongoing CPD and industry exams. The Managing Director is creating a brand-new Financial Planner position.
You will inherit established client relationships from advisers approaching retirement, giving you an immediate, high-quality client bank from day one. Beyond servicing existing clients, you will be keen to build relationships with businesses and stakeholders across Kent, helping to broaden the firm’s reach and reputation. You will benefit from dedicated administration and paraplanning support throughout.
