SUMMARY:
Senior Financial Manager
Lead the numbers. Shape the strategy.
POSITION INFO:
A senior leadership opportunity exists for an accomplished Senior Financial Manager to work closely with the executive team, gaining broad exposure to the business while taking full accountability for the finance and accounting function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing the Finance Department
- Ensuring full IFRS compliance across multiple entities
- Monthly management reporting, Annual Financial Statements, and audit coordination
- Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- VAT and income tax submissions, including SARS queries
- Oversight of key financial and operational processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance
- Managing and coordinating finance-related projects end-to-end
- Preparing high-level reports for Exco, Board meetings, and funders
- Supporting senior management with financial insights and exception reporting
Experience:
- 10+ years’ senior financial management experience
- Proven leadership and project management capability
- Working knowledge of IFRS and eligibility to register as a Key Individual (FSCA)
- Advanced Excel skills with ERP system exposure (Xero/Sage/QuickBooks)
- Analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and an effective communicator
