We are looking for a Senior Financial Controller who is detail-conscious, business-focused, and motivated to enhance processes while helping shape important decisions. In this role, you will be at the heart of our Finance team, ensuring high-quality financial reporting, improving internal controls, and delivering insights that enable better business decisions.
Who You'll Work With
You will work closely with our CFO and become part of a small, experienced Finance team that values collaboration, trust, and continuous development.
You'll partner with colleagues across the business to ensure financial transparency, support decision-making, and build a solid financial base for our organization. We believe the best solutions are created through curiosity, knowledge sharing, and working together across teams.
What Will Be Doing
- Financial reporting & month-end close: Play a key role in the monthly and annual closing processes, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and contribute to accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Budgeting & forecasting: Contribute to the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analyses in close collaboration with the CFO, providing insights to support financial planning and business decisions.
- Audit & compliance: Lead external audits and statutory reporting while ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and financial governance.
- Process improvements & automation: Identify opportunities to improve, standardize, and automate finance processes while helping enhance our reporting capabilities and finance systems.
- Financial systems & data quality: Maintain high-quality financial data and contribute to the continued development of reporting tools, ERP systems, and Business Intelligence solutions.
- Business partnering: Partner with colleagues across the organization to provide financial analyses and insights that enable informed operational and strategic decision-making.
What We Are Looking For
- A Master's degree within the field of Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or similar.
- 4-6+ years of experience within Financial Controlling, Audit or Accounting.
- Deep knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, controlling, and accounting principles.
- Experience working with ERP systems and Excel. Knowledge of PowerBI considered a plus.
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to translate numbers into business insights.
- Professional proficiency in English. Danish is considered an advantage.
