VOX Funding is hiring a Senior Underwriter to join our New York team. We're looking for a sharp, experienced financial professional who can analyze complex deals, make sound credit decisions, and help move forward our underwriting function.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Analyze business & personal Tax Returns, P&Ls, Balance Sheets, Bank Statements, and Cash Flow
• Evaluate business performance, liquidity, leverage, and overall financial health to determine creditworthiness and repayment ability
• Identify risk factors, trends, and opportunities to make sound, well-supported underwriting recommendations
• Structure and price financing solutions based on both quantitative analysis and qualitative business factors
• Work closely with sales, funding, and management teams to structure the right financing solutions
• Mentor junior underwriters and support team development

- Ability to evaluate business performance, liquidity, leverage, and overall financial health
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Proven experience in underwriting or credit risk at a senior level
• Background in commercial loan processing, mortgage servicing, or tax analysis preferred
On-site only — no remote or hybrid arrangements available.
Salary Range: 125k+
