Overview

The role strengthens the financial partnership between Finance and our practices to help leaders make data‑driven decisions. As a Practice Business Partner, you will translate financial insights into actionable actions, supporting performance, efficiency and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis, create forecasts, variance analysis and reports to track key metrics and trends.
  • Provide clear, actionable commentary on financial results and recommend strategies for performance improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with practice managers, regional and senior directors to understand objectives and challenges; act as a trusted advisor to support decision‑making and business growth.
  • Support practice budget and forecast processes in partnership with the FP&A team and senior leadership; report on KPIs.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and presentations for operations decisions.
  • Respond to support tickets and assist with audit‑ready inventory counts as required.
  • Identify operational improvement opportunities and cost optimization within finance processes; work with stakeholders to design, implement and track improvements.
  • Support strategic planning and special projects via scenario analysis, modeling and business case development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • 2‑3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or Business Partner in a prior finance role.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and data synthesis skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting and analysis techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to convey concepts to non‑financial stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software systems.
  • Independent work, multi‑priority management and deadline orientation within a fast‑paced environment.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Salary & Benefits

The salary range is $70,000 CAD to $85,000 CAD annually, plus up to 10% bonus and a competitive total rewards and benefits package.
