Responsibilities
- Analyze large volumes of loan data (consumer and commercial) to support decision-making and risk management.
- Prepare, validate, and submit complex liquidity and treasury regulatory reports, including 2052a and 6G.
- Conduct in-depth reviews of balance sheet products such as deposits, loans, and derivatives to assess financial impacts.
- Map and trace data flows (data lineage), ensuring completeness and data quality for all financial and regulatory reports.
- Create and maintain SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate large datasets used in liquidity monitoring and regulatory compliance.
- Gather, document, and translate business requirements related to finance, treasury, and liquidity data processes.
- Work cross-functionally with finance, operations, and IT teams to strengthen compliance, process accuracy, and report automation.
- Identify data quality issues, recommend solutions, and drive process improvements in reporting and analytics functions.
- Deliver insightful, actionable analysis to senior stakeholders with minimal supervision.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, or related field
- Strong, hands-on experience with consumer and/or commercial loan data, treasury, liquidity reporting, and regulatory data requirements (especially 2052a, 6G, or similar).
- Advanced proficiency writing and troubleshooting SQL queries for financial data analysis.
- Demonstrated background in business/data analysis including requirements gathering, data lineage, source-to-target mapping, and data quality processes.
- Solid understanding of balance sheet products (deposits, derivatives, etc.).
- Ability to communicate complex data and regulatory concepts clearly to business partners.
- Experience delivering projects with limited supervision, preferably in large financial institutions.
