Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their corporate finance team. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the company’s financial reporting and consolidation process, ensuring compliance with IFRS and promoting process improvements.
What You Will Be Doing:
Serve as the subject matter expert for complex, multi-entity consolidations, ensuring timely and accurate provision of data for corporate reporting
Keep financial teams informed of changes in IFRS and maintain compliance
Standardize reporting processes and templates to promote consistency and accuracy
Review and approve subsidiary and affiliate financial submissions
Drive process improvements and maintain effective internal controls
Collaborate with stakeholders and support audits
What We Need From You:
At least 4 years of experience in financial reporting, with a strong understanding of IFRS
Experience using One Stream or other consolidation tools such as Hyperion is a strong asset
Intermediate proficiency in Excel
Previous experience with public reporting, intercompany transactions, and consolidations
Knowledge of foreign exchange calculations
Training from a Big 4 or mid-sized accounting firm
Familiarity with working with large, complex clients with multi-entities and multi-currency structures
