Senior FP&A Analyst

A rapidly growing, private equity–backed organization is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join its finance team. This role will work closely with leadership to support financial reporting, planning, and strategic analysis that drives business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial reporting packages and executive presentations for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Provide monthly analysis and commentary on financial results, including trends and variances compared to budget and forecast.
- Support the annual budgeting process by consolidating departmental budgets, reviewing key assumptions, and preparing summary reporting and presentation materials.
- Assist with financial reporting related to lending agreements and compliance requirements.
- Partner with leadership to support long-term financial and strategic planning through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data-driven insights.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to improve overall performance.
- Develop a strong understanding of internal financial systems and data sources to generate meaningful operational insights.
- Maintain and enhance a rolling 13-week cash forecast and analyze working capital trends.
- Prepare monthly borrowing base and related documentation for financing arrangements.
- Analyze cash flow and working capital performance and present insights to leadership.
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and strategic initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline required.
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or similar certification is a plus but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial insights to senior stakeholders.
- Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence tools required; familiarity with common financial systems and visualization tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to solve complex problems and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, including financial modeling and executive-level presentations.
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and core financial statements.
