This business is a high-growth financial services business based in Macquarie Park. Operating on a hybrid model with 3 days in and 2 days at home, they are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant for a broad-based role, offering $140,000 + super + bonus.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the role will focus on financial & management reporting, statutory accounting, business/process improvement, and various supporting tasks as the business grows. BAU work will see you support a wholesale funding entity, managing data across various systems, and identifying and resolving issues with various stakeholders. Key tasks will include ownership of month-end, including journals, financial statements, dashboards and executive summaries, forecasting & variance packs and overseeing transactional work. You will also prepare stat accounts, liaise with auditors, and support investor communication, all whilst working with stakeholders to improve processes.
This is a role that requires you to be out in the business, building relationships and collaborating with teams to resolve issues and improve processes. Proactivity, problem-solving and collaboration are key skills needed to be successful.
