Manage short- and long-term cash flow to ensure continued business growth

Oversee supplier payment runs and credit control processes

Deliver accurate monthly management accounts, KPIs, variance analysis, and trend reporting to the Board

Prepare year-end statutory accounts and support external audit processes

Submit VAT returns and manage CIS payments for subcontractors

Process staff payroll and oversee month/year-end financial close

Support, mentor, and develop your Accounts Assistant through regular feedback and appraisals

About You

Fully or part-qualified CIMA or ACCA (or equivalent)

Previous experience in a Finance Manager or Accounts Manager role

Strong understanding of accounting standards, VAT, payroll, and CIS regulations

Confident in preparing and presenting financial insights to senior stakeholders

A keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and ability to meet deadlines

Collaborative leadership style with a proactive and adaptable mindset

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to take real ownership of the finance function. If you’re ready to join a genuinely welcoming and down-to-earth team where your input will be valued — we’d love to hear from you.
