Senior Finance Manager – Digital & Technology (Finance Transformation)
We are partnering on a senior finance leadership opportunity within a global digital & technology environment focused on building a modern financial management capability from the ground up.
This is a highly visible role acting as the bridge between Finance and Technology, responsible for designing and operating the financial framework that governs all technology-related spend, investment tracking, and cost transparency.
🔷 What you will do
- Build and operate the financial management framework for a global Digital & Technology organisation
- Design end-to-end financial planning processes (budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning) for technology spend
- Develop and implement a cost transparency model, including allocation mechanisms (showback / chargeback)
- Partner with Finance FP&A to ensure robust, bottom-up financial inputs and alignment to corporate finance processes
- Analyse and manage operational technology spend (e.g. SaaS, cloud, platform costs) and identify optimisation opportunities
- Support investment governance, including business case development and benefits tracking post-implementation
- Drive improvements in financial reporting, automation, and insight generation across the DT organisation
- Act as a key partner between Finance, Technology, and Transformation teams in a complex, global environment
🔷 What we are looking for
- 7+ years’ experience in Finance, FP&A, Controlling, or Finance Transformation roles in complex international environments
- Proven experience building or significantly improving financial planning, forecasting, or management frameworks
- Strong background in finance transformation, operating model design, or ERP / systems-enabled change
- Experience designing or working with cost allocation models, financial transparency frameworks, or similar structures
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insight
- Experience working closely with Technology, IT, or transformation teams is highly beneficial
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, ambiguous, global environment
